Roger Clark believes there is no hard case that does not deserve a good settlement. The financial and emotional returns of even a well-tried lawsuit rarely equals the benefits of a timely settlement that fully takes into calculation the risks, exposure and uncertainty of leaving your future in the hands of a third-party decision maker, whether it be a judge or jury.
Roger was trained as a mediator at Pepperdine Law School’s the Strauss Institute For Dispute Resolution. He is a graduate of Rutgers Law School and received his undergraduate degree in Multinational Business Operations from Florida State University. He has maintained a national practice, with his home bases in California and Florida, since being admitted to Florida in 1978 and California in 1983.
Representing plaintiffs in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, business and commercial and intellectual property cases, he has recovered multi-million dollar and even eight figure settlements, verdicts, and judgments. At the same time he has maintained a diverse practice, defending insurance companies, insureds, corporations and banks in complex coverage disputes, multi-district litigation, product liability, personal injury and wrongful death, employment and discrimination, real estate and lease, medical malpractice, legal malpractice and aviation cases, taking many of these cases to trial over the decades with favorable verdicts and settlements.
He has the breadth and depth of experience to tackle the most challenging of cases. Roger believes creativity, patience and good old-fashioned hard work and perseverance are the ingredients to a wise settlement.
